Sweet Joe Pye Weed grows up to 84″ (7 ft) tall with sturdy stems that hold fragrant pink blooms July–September. It prefers partial to full shade and medium to wet clay, loam, or sandy soils. Ideal for the back of borders or naturalized and woodland-edge plantings.
Ecological Benefits
Large summer flower heads attract butterflies (including Monarchs and Eastern tiger swallowtails) and a variety of other pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity.
