Tall Bellflower reaches up to 5 ft tall, bearing arching stems of blue, bell-shaped flowers from midsummer into fall. It thrives in partial sun to shade in clay, loam or sandy soils with medium to medium-wet moisture. This self-seeding perennial fills woodland edges and shaded borders without aggressive spread.
Ecological Benefits
The tubular blue flowers provide nectar for hummingbirds, bumblebees and butterflies from midsummer through fall, supporting late-season pollinators.
